MEET BETH

Beth Keane
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
Reiki Master
The path that brought me to nutritional therapy was built with many stepping stones. Along the way, I learned these simple truths:

The reality of bio-individuality
With three picky-eater children, I was forced to think three times as hard at mealtime. I had always enjoyed preparing food for others, but our kids really made me think about how to provide nutrition through a maze of needs and preferences.

The beautiful complexity of the human body
Twenty years ago, flipping through a waiting room magazine, I found a take-home detox plan. It was during that detox that I first stopped to appreciate what a body needs in order to do its best job every day. I continue to make time for detoxification on a regular basis.

The undue influence of corporate interests
Food and medicine are big business. In our modern society, sometimes these businesses interfere with our health interests. Witnessing over-prescribed pharmaceuticals and under-emphasized nutrition makes me crazy! I want to do my part to make true wellness a priority again.

The value of ancient wisdom
A number of years ago, a friend invited me to join her at a weeklong study of Ayurveda. This 6,000-year-old science of life still rings true today in its many practices that complement the philosophy of nutritional therapy.

The positive impact of relaxation
My mom’s terrific experience with Reiki energy work during a hospital stay inspired me to become a Reiki Master. Thanks to my own experience volunteering in hospitals, I have now witnessed first-hand the effect of relaxation on health and healing.

The power of the natural world
Fresh air, sunlight, water, and rich soil are all fundamental to our nourishment. The healing nature of time spent outdoors is well-documented The closer we get to nature, the better we become at tapping into our own natures.

I am eager to learn about your path and to join you on your journey to optimal health and wellness!
